Sunday Morning
Worship starts at 10.30am every week and is followed by refreshments in The Hub.
As a Methodist Church we are part of a 'Circuit' which is a family of churches served by a group of ministers who are supported by Local Preachers. As such our Sunday morning worship is led by a diverse group of people, making it quite difficult to express the 'norm'. Roughly once a month there will be a Communion Service. Roughly once every two months we have an All Age service which is a more contemporary form of worship with a music group rather than organ or piano and a greater participation element for everyone present. Four times a year this includes a community celebration of some kind - Harvest, Advent (Toy), Easter time and Summer Celebration with BBQ.
The nature of our Sunday Worship does vary with the preacher coming. Some are more engaging and 'share the word' with us, inviting conversation and response, others take a more traditional 'teach and preach' approach. We believe this is a strength as we are constantly challenged with differing perspectives. As a church family we are responsive to whoever is leading worship, and you will find a warm welcome and a relaxed approach to worship when you join us.
